Born in Belarus, Alexander Rybak has always had the ear for making music in his own unique way. Both Rybak’s parents were surrounded by music growing up, largely influencing Rybak’s passion for learning violin, piano, as well as how to write and sing music. After moving to Norway with his family at the age of 5, Rybak continued to perfect his craft in both piano and violin, playing in different shows and concerts in any way he could. His international breakthrough came in 2009 when Rybak won the Eurovision contest representing Norway with his track, “Fairytale,” a song about trying to rekindle the magic of his first love.

Upon graduating from Columbia College’s film composition program in 2022, Rybak relocated to Los Angeles. In September of 2024, he moved back home to Norway

With over 2.7 million followers on TikTok and 1.2 million Instagram followers, Rybak’s ability to market his musical talents has helped pave the way for his strong music career.
